All of our Places here Matter

I was in conversation with Krish Surroy of Sacred Wild Podcasts. He kindly invited me to be on a call with him to explore many different delicious threads. Some of them are about initiation as the most important vehicle to all of us stepping into the healthy leadership and the more mature versions of ourselves that the earth needs right now. Some of them are about simple ways to be in ceremony in our day-to-day lives and finding our reciprocity with the rest of nature. Another thread includes a poem about, well, ‘the thread’. It’s by William Stafford:

The Way It Is

There's a thread that you follow. It goes among
the things that change. But it doesn't change.
People wonder about what it is you are pursuing.
You have to explain about the thread.
But it is hard for others to see.
While you hold it you can't get lost.
Tragedies happen; people get hurt
or die; and you suffer and get old.
Nothing you can do can stop time's unfolding.
You don't ever let go of the thread.

Get yourself a cup of your favorite tea, a cosy place to sit and enjoy listening. Do let me know how it was for you!
